Riverfront, Hot Tub, Game Room, Camp Fire

We really enjoyed our time at River House! There was lots of space for our group of 18 to spread out and we loved watching the trains! The house is well stocked with what is needed and that was so so nice. The basement rooms barely had enough of blankets(they were so thin) but there are extra in the upstairs rooms so that was helpful. We were told that there was a propane grill for use but when we arrived there was only a blackstone. So we had fried chicken instead of grilled… still worked out. That would be our main complaint and we recommend having that noted in the accommodations. The front yard is a sewer bed so not the greatest place to play games but there is a small flat space in the back where we played croquet. We wished for pickleball…the drive is not a good place to play.. but we got to enjoy the river and you can’t have it all. The river was lovely and close but not so close that it felt like a threat with small children. Thank you for sharing your space with us!
